We enjoyed a lovely tea with great food provided by All Saints. LaVerne Hubbard gave an exciting report on ECW Triennial and Judy Tucker reported on the Daughters of the King Triennial. Helen Batts gave a report on Church Women United. Lisa McIndoo showed slides from her recent trip to Tanzania. Kris Lowry gave a excellent "Dear God" prayer workship.
The Province IV ECW Women's Conference was held the first week in June at Kanuga.

We give many thanks to the women of St. Philip Episcopal Church, 9380 Davies Plantation Road, Memphis, who entertained us Saturday February 11, 2012 with coffee, snacks and beautifully decorated tables with a delicious luncheon. See photos below.
And we also send special thanks to Sunny Ross and Dorothy Wells. Sunny Ross, the Faith Community Relations Coordinator at the Church Health Center, told us funny and spiritual stories about her path as a Christian Armenian woman from Syria to Memphis. Dorothy Wells, our ECW Chaplain, reminded us of the inspirational story of Absalom Jones. **************************************************************************************

September 14, 2011 Trezevant Manor Luncheon The Rev. Robin Hatzenbuehler "Leaving Our Legacy" We enjoyed a repeat of our popular luncheon at Trezevant Manor. We also enjoyed visiting the Trezevant rummage sale called "Dottie's Digs." This showroom of gently used treasures is open twice a month to the public. May 7, 2011
Our spring meeting was Saturday May 7th. The meeting was held at the historic St. Luke's Church in Jackson, Tennessee. We were able to tour the renovations made after a devastating F4 tornado in 2003.

On this date, we provided 500 bottles of water for the big food packing event for Haiti at Church of the Holy Communion. The last food packed at CHC made it to the kids in time for the earthquake.

May 1, 2010 Our Spring ECW meeting was scheduled May 1st at All Saints, but we had to cancel due to very bad storms...we had a similar afternoon meeting in November of 2010 at All Saints' as our Annual Meeting. The scheduled speaker was Karen Carson, Memphis Dyslexia Foundation Discussing a new Learning Disability Tutoring Program at All Saints' We had planned a new exciting format with Evensong and a wine and cheese reception.

Saturday, February 13 at St. Mary's Cathedral Our speaker was Dr. Susan Nelson “Working in Haiti – One Doctor's Experience" Dr. Nelson showed a slide show of mission work in the past, present conditions in the aftermath of the tragic earthquake, and expectations for the weeks ahead. Our Fall Diocesan ECW Meeting was held on Saturday September 19, 2009 at Calvary Episcopal church.
Every year the Episcopal Church Women of the three Tennessee Dioceses have a Spring Meeting. We love to get together and share worship and fellowship with women from all over Tennessee. The Tri-Diocese Spring Meeting 2009 was held this year in West Tennessee in the beautiful and secluded St. Columba Episcopal Conference Center. www.stcmemphis.org
We enjoyed our special Joint Session with the St. Clare Silent Retreat and a lovely church service at the historic St. Mary's Cathedral in Memphis. Friday night we had a conversation with Bishop Don Johnson which was very interesting. Our Saturday morning workshops on Altar Guild Arts by Ann McCormick and "Grace in Our Time" by Sue Johnson were lots of fun.
* Our Keynote Speaker Saturday morning was the Rev. Marty Hedgpeth from North Carolina. She gave an excellent talk on "Forgotten Women of the Bible: Desperate Housewives, Harlots, and Heroines." She gave us lots to think about including many biblical women with seemingly minor roles who actually made a great deal of progress towards the work of God.
